Meet Our Teachers: DRAMA/THEATRE SPORTS:
Hey! I'm Nathan King. I have recently graduated from Garin College where over my 5 years I competed and participated in a wide range of activities in Drama and the arts. This included many competitions and arts festivals, such as, Mahi Toi, Twilight Notes, School Masses and inter-school theatre sports.
I have also attended multiple nation-wide competitions for Drama such as the Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival, TheatreFest's competition for one-act plays in New Zealand and national competitions for theatre sports. Alongside my teammate we were awarded the Best Youth Production at Theatrefest 2022. I also gained Scholarship in Drama in Levels 2 and 3. I have also competed and taught theatre sports over all 5 years that I spent at Garin College. Garin College now has a vibrant theatre sports and drama community and I hope to build on that foundation as I create engaging and fun drama classes for kids at Legacy Arts.
Hi, I am Rosa Babington. Alongside teaching Hip Hop and Little Stars at Legacy Dance I am excited to be teaching Drama/theatresports with Nathan. Drama has helped me hugely in my dancing, giving me confidence on stage and the ability to connect and engage with an audience. I have studied drama throughout my college years and have also been involved in many drama productions. I love to see kids grow in confidence and ability through drama while having lots of fun and being creative.

Wednesday - 4 - 4:45pm - 7-9yr olds
Wednesday - 5 - 6pm - 10yrs +

MEET OUR VOCAL COACH:
Hi I'm Poppie Wratt, I'm so excited to be joining the Legacy team as a vocal coach for 2023.
I started singing as a young girl and was a wee 5 year old when I first performed in public. I have since spent the rest of my life singing whether as a soloist or part of a choir, a band or on stage in various musicals.
I was trained classically for two and a half years and am grateful for the foundation that gave me to grow my vocal ability, range and the techniques to look after my voice well.
I'm looking forward to helping my students not only gain similar skills but also confidence in their singing ability.
We will give you the confidence to perform and show off your amazing singing voice.
